How to clean your salt lamp:

Wipe the lamp with a damp (not soaking wet) towel or sponge in order to remove dust. Once cleaned, dry the lamp with a paper towel or turn on the lamp for a while.

If you choose to place a Salt Crystal Lamp on a wooden surface (e.g furniture), please ensure that your furniture has a waterproof surface so that you would prevent it from being damaged.

Himalayan salt lamps are hygroscopic they draw in moisture from the air due to their mineral make up and should not be situated in any place subject to high humidity or water. Should the lamp become wet, gentle warming will re-dry the salt crystals to their normal state. Switching on the bulb should be sufficient but care must be taken to ensure that the electric fittings are completely dry. It is suggested to use the lamp more often than not to avoid this happening.
